New York, NY- AMCAST announces its intention to become a national player in wear parts and to communicate its role as technology innovator through a renewed corporate image, communication campaign and several seminar/training sessions targeted to the US professionals in the aggregate, mining and recycling industry.

AMCAST, with the support of its New York based marketing agency of record, Mantica Ventures, has recently renewed its corporate identity and launched a national communication campaign. The campaign brings to life its mission to “understand, solve, and deliver” and has the objective of establishing AMCAST as the “partner next door”, able to assist clients in the field by matching the right chemical composition of the wear parts with the appropriate materials and applications.

For this reason, AMCAST is going to sponsor a series of free seminars and training sessions for the aggregate, mining and recycling professionals to share opinions and concerns about different industry related topics and dynamics and to facilitate networking and the sharing of best practices.

The first meeting of the cycle, “Aggregate, Mining, Recycling industry seminar and training” was held in Long Island on March 5 at the Carlton Hotel and Havana Cigar Club. In the current context of economic tumult and political changes, Rick Vandekieft, Chief Editor of Focus on Aggregate of the Focus On Group, presented key learnings from the government infrastructure plan and other major 2009 issues for the industry. The session also explored the role of technological innovation in manganese casting to optimize the ratio between costs and performance. Lastly, the seminar included breakout training sessions with actual case studies so that participants could share issues and lessons learnt about castings, spare parts and industry trends.
